Episode 78: The Devil Went Down To Tumblr

READERS: Nutshell Gulag, Portaxx, bumpgrrl, Boots Raingear, Jack Chick, Acierocolotl, and John.

Edited by Portaxx

As the debate about the United States being a Christian Nation™ rages on (mostly in the form of poorly conceived Chick-Fil-A marketing efforts), we at The F Plus (excluding its leader, who spent the week on other pursuits) found ourselves wondering: What is the truest vision of Hell, and is Brokencyde making records there? Fortunately for us all, Tumblr exists, and if there ever was a more informative website than Tumblr, I haven't seen it. Full disclosure: The writer of this summary has only ever seen Tumblr and CatsThatLookLikeHitler.com. This week, The F Plus has a coupon for half of any sandwich energy.

Is this really the case? I understand that people are endlessly idiotic, but this stretches believability for me. Is this an internet only phenomenon?

I already made all of you my bitches back in 2000. It's still in effect 'till at least 2020.

In all fairness, Immachdracht responds to any pictures of tech/robotics/m echanical stuff with "OMG REMINDS ME OF HOOOOME AND MY TRUE SELF!!" So really all of Doom could be considered his home.

Oh also any pictures of birds are "Lilith's/Malph as' children" and all snakes are Lucifer. He'll do anything for a chance to talk about himself I guess!

Wow okay Acierocolotl has a really nice laugh.
It's kind of sad that people are that desperate for attention they need to make things up like that. One thing that drives me insane about otherkin is how they're like oh wow hey look at all the oppressed people and how much attention they get I should say I have a trait were people treat me worse than others too! Thats the issue with bringing issues of people being treated differently because of their sexuality and gender to light because somewhere theres a teenager who sees it as well if this person can get attention so can I! It really ruins the overall impact because then people will just react to you telling them you're gay or trangender with oh you're saying that for attention. I really wish people who say they're otherkin or have multiple personalities understood how they're affecting the community.

...revealing my nerdiness, but if the blog was properly gone, it would give you a 404-ish tumblr-blue page. What happened there was all of the entries were deleted, but the tumblr itself is still there.

Sometimes, internet drama just never changes.

Those demons are legit cute but I also love how the colors are used on the volcano's plume. Portaxx is very talented.

After coming back to this episode, I found it more enjoyable to listen than my first time through. I knew people called themselves otherkin, and I wasn't surprised that someone out there wanted to be defined as a demon of some sort.

But I never thought someone would take it a step further and write that he has PTSD from a past life. Then it just felt insulting that someone would have the nerve to write that and expect other people to actually believe it. For fuck's sake.

She sure likes the word "headspace", huh? Also, she used a word I had to google that apparently was coined by mspaintadventur es.com, I'm going out on a limb to say that this is a conspiracy to daisy chain every terrible internet thing together so that the enlightened (that's the name fot us) will be trapped in the infinity loop and unable to stop the reptillian illuminati.

Yesterday Watchful Entity archived a post about a 15-year-old girl pretending to have an anthropomorphic dog inside her head. This dog claims to "live on a world named Ecordia."

As it so happens, Ecordia is also where Grignr the barbarian hails from. I wonder if they've ever met.

I want to point this fact out to Watchful Entity, but for his own sanity he doesn't have asks or submits set up. :(

Regarding the source of humor, relistening to the Ki episode was neat, because even though the content was kind of mediocre, the jokes were spot on, and had me smiling the whole way through. Some of the lower-hanging fruit like Dragon Dildos and Adult Babies rely on the content to make fun of itself, and don't allow you guys to stretch your comedy muscles as much. Meanwhile, newer episodes like Waifus and Creepypasta seem mix them - great comedy and great material (3D Police Department and "A skeleon popped out!" are tied for my favorite moments), and they're an unpredictable ride into funnytown.

Tldr you guys are awesome and keep getting awesomer.

At this point I don't even know what I want more, a Tumblr/SJW or an MLP episode. Both have the potential to be ridiculously hilarious.

Let me just add that I too, think this person deserves if not a punch to the dick, at least a severe reprimand and maybe a removal of their internet privileges by their paternal figure(s).

Upon review, I found something even more scummy.

Not only is he playing pretend genocide with middle eastern mythological figures who are God's chosen (hinthint they're a standin for jews), he's also mining for sympathy about how HORRIBLE HE FEELS about the GENOCIDE and he wasn't apart of it and had to be told they were even gone but it was SO HORRIBLE GUIS what about MY PAIN.

Were he not so wrapped up in fantasy, he would be pissing off some Feminist or LGBT group or Holocaust survivor forum, so maybe it's for the best.

You know, there are different levels of otherkin. There are the people who just say 'hey I feel like I'm nonhuman but it doesn't define my life and I don't go on and on about it and flip out if I'm called a person', then there are magitek polymorph-mimic robots who are dating Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank from a multiple system. And yes I am talking about a specific person with that second one.

This is what I was trying to say earlier.

Well, nobody's obligated to love every episode!

There have been a few episodes where, after recording, I was all "Ugh, I wasn't on my A game, I couldn't think of anything funny to say" or "I was rather quiet for that one" but then the edited episode comes back and it's way funnier than I remember it being at the time. Pounced.org and Joan Ocean were two such episodes.

Well, nobody's obligated to love every episode! Don't feel like you need to apologize for that. I admit this one wasn't quite as high-energy as some other episodes, and sometimes I think that turns people off. It might just be little things like that. But I definitely wouldn't be mad if someone didn't like a few episodes here and there.

That seems to be a thing about the way F-Plus works. I didn't like the Joan Ocean episode at first, but after a few listens, it has become among my favorite. Sometimes there are just subtleties in insanity you miss the first time around. Disregard my previous rambling posts.

I've decided that if I ever win the lottery or come across a ton of money I don't really need, the first on my "Things to do" list is sign up for some of Water Woman's seminars. Just so I can either take plentiful notes or better still wear a wire just to send to all of you in The F-Plus.

I also thought about making a Call of C'thulhu game to run based off of it, but it's still percolating in the ol' brainbox.

It is kinda sad that the people with real problems on the internet get sympathy instead of help, and as long as there are phonies feeding off of this sympathy, under the guise of the same problems, the people with legitimate problems will keep getting the sympathy instead of real help with their problems.
