SPECIAL GUEST: Cleretic

Popular media seems to get no end of pleasure in exploring the day to day drudgery of characters who belong in a comic book universe. For those superheroes and supervillians, their life is so absurd that there is very little relatability of those characters to people living in the real world. But then thanks to online RPGs like City of Heroes and Champions Online, anyone with an internet connection and a love for paying fees can create their own superhero and live in a world populated exclusively by other characters who also have stupid skillsets. For the first of our Race For Ridiculism Showcase Episodes, Cleretic will be bringing us to this world, and forgetting to pack enough moist towelettes. This week, buy one glimp and get one free!

I love this.

I think compiling and doing this episode is among my favorite memories of the game, if not my top. It was just so much fun to get together, do, and turned out so well.

City of Heroes is shutting down. I think that means this episode is now a historical document.

What members of the COX commuity that heard about this episode liked it. Jo kitty messaged me in particular to say as much.

Man, that's kind of a shame. A lot of people seemed to have fun with that game. It's too bad they couldn't gave gone out in a blaze of glory and had some gigantic Galactus-like character wipe Paragon City off the face of the earth or something. You know that would have been amazing to see.

Wow, 2.2k people (Facebook) liked that City of Heroes is shutting down. Must have been a really crappy game.

Sadly, Forest Emerald had to be cut specifically because we spent an exorbitant amount of time on it. It was the length of about three other readings.

Sounds like a bonus short if there ever was one.

Quoting A post about boobs:
This is a dumb pet peeve of mine, but 32DDD isn't some freakish bra size. It means that your circumference is about 30 inches right under the bust, and about 36 inches around the bust. So yes, that would be a woman who's busty and probably isn't obese. (Just how thin she is would depend on her height). But it really isn't an uncommon size. It's just that most women who need a 32DDD are probably wearing a 36D, because the system used for bra sizing isn't exactly intuitive.

She's still too tiny to be able to handle those things. She's like, a twig otherwise.

Sadly a more unarguable one was cut, an elf with not one but -two- pairs of R-cups.

my superhero is called water woman and she used to be a man named fred until gangstalkers gave him a sex change and her orientation is hint of sweet.

That was a typo. It should be 28 or 29 inches.

"My darling brown-arsed fuckbird... James Joyce!"

We read a couple of James Joyce's raunchy letters to his wife in the episode "Hoc Est Praecipue De Buttsex."

Oh god. Thank you for that, I had not heard that episode and I'm listening to it right now and almost crying.

This reminded me of when I was a young lad imagining up super heroes that I mostly ripped off from comics...except really really creepy.

I love it when you guys do episodes like this because it makes me feel so much better about my own comparatively subdued level of nerdery. I mean, yes, I have probably been playing too much Mass Effect lately, but on the other hand I am not... whatever the hell these people are.

Seconding this. I was about to point this out, actually. I should find the worst of the worst Furc profiles for my next attempt at joining the race for ridiculism.

Beaten there twice, but yeah. Furcadia profiles would probably just be more of the same from the Original Character one with more furry flavor, but I feel like Furcadia is ripe for ridiculism.

One of the weirdest things I ever saw on there was a really, really lovingly detailed vore map. They had rigged it up so you could eat people and your character sprite would get a huge gut, and then you could poop them out, plus more details I've forgotten... It involved so much code that it straddled the line between horrifying and impressive.
