The Race For Ridiculism Concludes

The F Plus Race For Ridiculism concluded on Friday and as mentioned, we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Quite a lot of people went out and hunted down quite a lot of really great content, and that's gonna mean some excellent episodes on the horizon.

We want to make sure to give congratulations to JT, Cleretic, Cheapskate and Montrith - who were victorious in finding some of the worst things the internet had to offer, and so will receive the dubious honor of being part of a podcast in the near future. We're keeping the topics all secret at the moment, but this is all gonna be really fun to read.

Meanwhile, there's an additional squad of people who found a whole different batch of stuff for us to read, so our content is set for the next couple of months, and really, giving ourselves a break from mining strange fetish sites is our prize.

I think the creepiest thing I ever saw that was pony related was the "ask futashy" tumblr. Not just because it was about a pony Fluttershy with fully detailed male and female horse genitalia who was being raised by a human Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie (who were also in a relationship), but because it had absolutely bizarre shifts in tone. One moment you'd have harmless comics about how Futashy got adopted by her new family and how she learned to trust again, or stories about Futashy accidentally knocking something over or being shy or whatever that seemed intended to be heartwarming, innocent, and family friendly... and then there'd be graphic porny comics filled with giant horse dongs and bestiality and lesbian sex. One or the other! You can't do both at the same time!

The thing that makes Bronies notorious is roughly the same thing that makes the Supernatural fandom notorious: there is a VERY crazy minority with no limits and unfathomable perversion who take themselves way too seriously. They manage to be so vividly disgusting, the goings-on of the rest of the fandom (which is basically what Portaxx described) is perceived as the exception, much to the chagrin of the non-crazy people who like the show.

In case I was being to subtle, I like both of those shows, but the Supernatural episode and everything montrith found make me want to puke. If you do a brony episode, though, I'll download the hell out of it.

At least Cupcakes is fictional. There's also tons of supremely creepy quotes about how "it's not pedophilia" when they talk about wanting to rape Applebloom. Combine this with all the racism and misogyny and you have a collection of some truly unappealing human beings.

Shit, some of that stuff is so awful I'm not sure even Fplus could use it. It might be best to stick to MLP/Minecraft crossovers and pages about grown men debating if a pink cartoon pony has a vagina. Speaking of vaginas...
