We actually played around with that exact subject back in September, but there wasn't a lot of variety. The majority of the material out there is samey generic right-wing Nobama/Demoncrats stuff in an infinite echo chamber.

The Patriot fires 5.56x45mm rounds, which are known to tumble, but only after they've either hit something soft (like flesh) or traveled about 200 meters and lost much of their rotational stability. They wouldn't be tumbling directly out of the barrel as depicted in MGS3.

Also I never used the Avelyn because I'm melee all the way.

When Ishfahan plays mgs3 he complains about how the patriot's bullets dont flip end over end in the air because it would decrease the velocity, and how it being shaped like an infinity sign doesn't give it infinite ammo.

And what about the Avelyn in Dark Souls, huh! Explain that.

I light candles and turn off the lights and hug a pillow while the scene plays. Also there's a codec conversation available afterwards wherein he goes into greater detail about the modifications.

At that point, I usually have to pause the game to step outside and smoke a cigarette.

I used to have a portable Gatling gun but I traded it for McDonalds gift certificates

I'd put a sad emoticon here but it's not fat enough

ISFAHAN IS THIS TRUE (PLEASE SAY IT IS)

I actually learned about tactical reloading after asking Isfahan about the way guns are depicted in Metal Gear. EDUCATIONAL! ^_^

Are you talking about the Crossbow Jesus in the Tower of Latria or just the actual equippable weapon?

Heavy crossbows shoot bolts and you shoot bolts in the game so I guess it's good to go.

Isfahan what type of gun was the chaingun in Wolfenstein 3D?

A fabrication.

Also, the way the gun is shown in-game, the mechanism is of a Gatling-style rotating-barrel mechanism rather than chain-driven operation, so it shouldn't even be called a "chaingun" at all. Chainguns are gigantic guns firing gigantic bullets. They are mounted on IFVs and ships. They are not man-portable (neither, for that matter, are centerfire Gatling designs).

I'm sorry, but I can't not gun-sperg about this any more. The "AK-47" depicted in the computer entertainment software "Killing Floor" is not a proper AK-47 but rather a Romanian modification of a stamped AK receiver (which would in itself make it an AKM, not an AK-47) with the front sight assembly incorporated into the gas block and the barrel reduced to 11.5 inches in length. This modified AK platform was intended specifically for the US import market under the name "Draco pistol" and does not in fact come with a wire folding stock as depicted in the aforementioned computer gaming entertainment software due to federal regulations on short-barreled rifles. FURTHERMORE the Draco is NOT a select-fire weapon and fires only in semi-automatic, exacerbating the inacc

If I could be bothered to get steam and Killing Floor, then I totally would do this.

Also someone isn't very...how we say...charming today.

For all seriousness, I usually stick to classic shooters on NES. I can respect that people play games like this, but it's not necessarily my taste. Good luck with whatever you guys got planned though!

Yeah, that's in the cards too, as well as the trader (which was the worst offender in my book).
